Job Title: Senior Application Developer / Technical Lead
Career Level: 7 years+ experience

FLSA Status: Exempt
Responsibilities: Beginning as a developer and transitioning into the Team Lead role, the candidate will be tasked with critical components of application development, including interfacing with clients for requirement analysis and application design, development, testing, implementation, and documentation. Must possess the ability to adhere to release management practices and procedures, evaluate and adapt to new technologies as needed, provide team leadership and guidance while leading the development effort. Responsible for Coding Quality Control (Code Reviews, Establishing/Verifying Standards). Will be required to quickly possess a high level understanding of all the components that make up the core applications. Coordinate meetings with SME and or component owners and support enhancements and new releases. Act as development manager, keeping and updating team progression on development tasks. Conduct and attend regularly occurring client and team meetings. Perform occasional programming tasks. Provide documentation of all programming efforts, ideally with what/how code is being converted. Train the client staff on the fundamentals of .NET programming.
Requirements:
  • BA/BS in Computer Science or a related area
  • Seven (7)+ years of experience in designing and developing complex software applications
  • Strong management & client relationship experience and skills are necessary
  • Strong team or technical lead experience is necessary
  • Experience with Object Oriented Programming
  • Experience with Database Design and Implementation preferred
  • Understanding of n-tier Application Architecture (e.g. MVC, SOA) and Design Patterns
  • .NET certification preferred

  • SQL Server 2005/2008
  • T-SQL Programming (e.g. stored procedures, views, functions, triggers)
  • Web Development
  • HTML/XHTML , XML/XSLT
The following technologies would be a plus:
  • SQL Reporting Services
  • JavaScript
  • CSS
  • Cross-browser compliance
  • SharePoint (MOSS 2007, WSS 3.0)
