Objective:
|
Detail-oriented Sales Executive needed who has a working knowledge and an understanding of Information Technology. Previous IT sales experience is preferred. Responsible for all sales activities from lead generation through close within the Baltimore/DC/Northern Virginia Metropolitan area. Develop and implement agreed upon Marketing Plan, which will meet both personal and business goals of expanding customer base in the marketing area. Work with the inside sales and support teams for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals in line with company vision and values.

Requirements:
|
- Qualify new leads by phone through screening calls
- Move target clients through the final seven stages of the Firm sales gate process:
- First call completed
- Discovery meeting completed
- Demo meeting completed
- Proposal delivered
- Verbal ‘yes” received
- Signed contract in hand
- Hand off to Project Manager completed
- Take ownership of the outside sales role, including:
- Taking incoming client calls (~5 per day)
- Working with the Inside Sales team to ensure leads are pursued properly
- Making outbound sales calls (~25 per day)
- Cross-selling and up-selling of the entire suite of services
- Utilizing the Inside Sales team to attract qualified leads in the most effective way
- Generate appointments (e.g. first calls, discovery meetings or demo meetings) with well-qualified target clients within the ideal profile
- Attend trade and networking events and client presentations as needed in the field (minimal travel required)
- Develop and maintain a business plan for budgeting and prospecting activity
- Complete the pre-determined 90 day on-boarding plan
- Daily activity tracking in CRM to include, but not limited to:
- Outbound sales dials
- Networking events
- Meetings set
- Meetings held
- Closed deals
- Attend weekly sales team meetings (typically 60 minutes or less)
- Attend weekly sales force development meeting (sales training)
- Participate in a daily phone status update (required 15 minutes or less)

Required Skill Set:
|
- 4 year degree in Business and/or Marketing with 5+ years of related sales experience
- Must have a basic understanding of technology and a comfort working with typical software programs
- Previous IT sales a plus
- Strong presentation skills
- Detailed oriented
- Self starter & solid self awareness
- Excellent communicator capable of delivering Firm value proposition
- Strong questioning techniques
- Daily, weekly, monthly goal setting
- Expertise and experience in prospecting, presenting and closing deals valued at $10,000 to $500,000
- Strong computer skills needed (ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite)

Key Performance Indicators:
|
- Make 20+ outbound calls per day
- Uncover 3+ qualified leads per week
- Set and/or attend 3+ qualified first calls per week
- Set and/or attend 3+ discovery meetings in person per week
- Close 20 percent or more of proposals delivered within 45 days of proposal delivery
- Ensure an accurate pipeline is presented to Firm management each Monday at the sales and operations meeting.
- Build a sales pipeline in line with an annual quota of $2,000,000 in new business booked:
- $500,000 per quarter to be closed/won
- Pipeline should be worth $400,000+ for each month of the year
